More News From A Day Of Doubles

Today was officially the first day of daily doubles. Who else showed up finally but Jamere Holland. He said his knee feels fine and he feels its more of a mental thing than anything else. Heres a link to Mr. Moseley's story on full pads yesterdayhttp://www.registerguard.com/csp/cms/sites/dt.cms.support.viewStory.cls?cid=126568&sid=21&fid=1. Nate Costa spoke and said he feels the team is doing better and fairly well compared to recent camps. He also noted that the team is actually looking at him as a leader versus just a sophmore quarterback. He said that they transitioned well from helmets, to shells, to pads and said that while they definitely could have been better, he wasnt too disappointed. He said they looked fair and will be ready in 21 days. Mr. P.Chung said that the secondary isnt elite...yet. Yes he said not yet. But he said they have some things to work on, and they WILL be ready come August 30th. Now if that doesnt get you pumped up, maybe you should rethink your alliances. I am more than prepared for an amazing year of duck football, while being cautious. I remember the year of Kellen Clemens horrific junior year in which they should have been good, but under performed. But I dont think that will happen this year. Chip Kelly will be on it like Weezy is on 3 peat, and Allioti will have the defense bringing back memories of a once feared Gang Green. People, I preach to you from my soap box; I saw the light, and the light is ahead. Duck football is coming back to the Joey Heisman years. Lets start buying are yellow and green shirts and shouting random Go Ducks while walking down campus. If your walking down the street and see a fan in a duck shirt, pat him on the back and say: Amen. Lol alright Im getting a little bit out of hand. Im just excited. Is it August 30th yet??

I agree with Mr. P Chung; we WILL be ready. The fans and the players.

Costa however has some SERIOUS developing he needs to do before he's ready to lead the men into battle; however ready he thinks he is; he's not, but he WILL be.

So, the better question is, WILL washington be ready to get their a-double-crooked-letters handed to them?

If not, that's too bad, because we my friends, WIll be ready

:)

Preach it!
